Mario Badescu at Nordstrom!

I had NO IDEA that Nordstrom sells Mario Badescu!!!! I was at the MAC counter and I saw this green thing a few counters over and I just knew that it was Mario Badescu. The guy there was really nice! He gave me samples with my purchase. I bought the glycolic acid toner since I'm almost out of my Clinique toner and I want something that doesn't have alcohol in it like the Clinique one. I've been using it for a few days and I can tell that it's not going to work for me. It's slightly breaking me out and it leaves my face REALLY shiny looking (I guess cuz it's for dry & sensitive skin so it's trying to moisturize?) Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to return it. I wanted to try this other toner, but the MB in Nordstrom doesn't carry the whole line. Anywho, I also got the facial spray with aloe, herbs, and rosewater. I've never tried this before, but the MB website says it's supposed to "refresh, rehydrate and revitalize skin with this nutrient-rich facial spritz. May also be used to set make-up." It's only $7 for 4 oz as opposed to MAC's Fix+ that's $15 for 3.4 oz... So I decided to give this a go.

I'm psyched to try out some of the samples that the guy gave me! especially the strawberry face scrub. I've tried the kiwi one and it works great so I'll let you guys know how this one works out. MB's scrubs are very gentle and I feel like they're more like creamy face washes with some seeds thrown in for exfoliation lol. The guy also gave me a sample of the honey moisturizer and he said that one was the #1 selling moisturizer. It's a moisturizer designed for night time use though.

I've never heard of Mario Badescu, in fact I don't spend much money on skin products but if it's good I wanna try it. =P I hope they sell it in Canada!

Sorry to hear about the Mario Badescu's toner. YOu are lucky though that you can return it! we can return stuffs here in PI but it's not easy. If it doesn't work for you..it'l take a lot of trouble to return it so we ended up products we don't use and doesn't work for us :) We haev MB stuffs here but never really seriously thought of trying them as they are "uber" expensive! thanks for the feedback, will wait for your other feedback!
