Ecotools Brush Set

I was wandering around in my local Walgreens when I spotted this baby. After seeing it on Vanessa's blog, I thought I'd give these brushes a chance. I could tell that they were super soft even in the plastic bag that they came in. I tried to whip em out of the bag to feel the bristles, but you actually have to cut off the top to open them! smarties... Anywho, I ended up buying them and I'm glad I did! The brush set was around $12 for 5 brushes--a blush brush, eye shadow brush, eyeliner brush, concealer brush and brow brush. If you buy them separately, I think they're all around $7 each except the eye shadow brush alone is $4... So it's way more worth it to get the whole set. My only concern is how big the eye shadow brush is... It'd do better as a concealer brush in my opinion...

I'm beginning to second guess myself on MAC now. The more I find cheaper products that work just as well (if not better), the less I seem to like MAC. Don't get me wrong, if things cost more than MAC, then of course I'd go for MAC instead, but these brushes are pretty good quality.

I feel the same way for MAC brushes too! I remember being obsessed with buffer brushes, I got 182 and 180... both sheds btw.. but when 182 was spakin' new, it was luxuriously soft.. it was heavenly! Didn't mind paying $45 sumthin' at all..Then the shedding started. ugh.. I have lots of EoB eyeliner brushes (angle and the regular one) to rotate around.. not giving me the easiness I want.. and considered 263 or 266. but Ecotool's eyeliner brush is awesome! Don't need 263 or 266. It makes eyelining easy to use, and sparked my love for fluidlines again. It's the first time I could create thin and consistent lines without much effort. Love it! I wanna get some more to rotate around.

I say if you can find something that's just as good, why does the brand matter that much. ( hehe ) I just use anything... :P

I've felt these up at Walgreens (the packages at mine could be opened) and they are really soft! Only thing is that the e/s brush is really long and kind of pointed, I wouldn't know what to do with it.

I've been wanting Ecotools brushes for some time for several reasons. One being friendly to the environment. Unfortunately, the Walgreens by my house don't sell these. I don't know why! :(

Omg. I've totally been thinking about buying that brush set. I can't find them anywhere near me, but there's a Walgreen's right by the BF's.. maybe I'll go check it out (: But I feel the same way about MAC brushes. They're good, but sometimes aren't worth the price "/
