These are the first gel liners I've ever bought. EVER! I actually got these kinda recently like 4 months ago and putting them on the first time was really awkward. I was at the MAC store & the MA was showing these to me so I asked if I could try putting them on myself to see if I could get the hang of it... and I did alright for my first attempt... only I also poked some of this stuff onto my contact lenses and boy, do these babies STICK! I ended up having to throw one of my contacts away and was walking around in the mall half blinded.
Anywho, I'm not so sure that I'd buy fluidlines again even though they are really functionable gel liners since there are other brands out there like L'oreal Hip that make equally good gel liners. Frostlite definitely is the sheerest out of the rest. Because of that, it also makes a good highlighter and that's what I mainly use it for. They're all super water resistant so they won't budge (not even with soap & water. believe me, I've tried)

I have Delphic too, but I find it hard to apply with a brush. Do you use it for as a base at times?
Alyssa: really? i don't have any problems applying it... i just have to go over the line a few times to make it look less sheer. i did try using it as a base once, but it didn't work too well since they're kinda creamy...
What kind of brush did you use? Fine tipped or slanted, flat tip? I'm wondering if using a different brush, will make a difference.
macroviolet is gorgeous!!
i used to have blitz n glitz...
That's what I hate about gel liners! It's easy to get on my contacts... and Bobbi Brown's gel liner doesn't come off easy either, bleh. Plus, I hate having to use a brush and having to wash a brush, lol~
i have blacktrack. i'm not toooo crazy about using it. i keep holding onto it, cause i keep telling myself i MIGHT use it. they're creamy and apply smoothly but i think you have to have the right brush to apply it on with. i think my problem is the brush. i have this smashbox one but it scratches my eyes. i normally get a eyeshadow applicator (the disposable ones) and dip it in my fluidline and put it on with that when i do my smokey eyes. that way my eyes dont have to look perfect and it can be smudgy! lol. the line isn't as thin as it would be but i don't care when i'm doing my smokey eyes!
I love my Non-Conformist. It truly doesn't budge! I use Uppity as a base since it's too sheer to be used as a liner.
Gel Eyeliners are great. But fluidlines are kinda pricey (here, anyways). I'm also using the Indelible Gel Eyeliners. They're neat too. I recently got a new color; Endangered. It's a beautiful forest green.
i was going to purchase some more fluidline (i only have blacktrack) but then i discovered the HIP liners and decided why waste money! we'll see how long that last =) when are you giving me your address?!?
Girl! welcome to the crazy world of gel liners! I poked the gel in my eye many times when I started to use it! but you'll get the hang of it!! I want to try colored gel liners, I am boring , most of the colored ones are just in pencil form! :)
I have blacktrack and frostlite too! My blacktrack's my backup lol I'm not sure if I would buy fluidlines again either sicne there are alot of other choices out there, and some for more affordable prices.
thanx. i was curious about it too =)
thanks hun. i'm really busting my booty. i'm anxious to start school and getting my nerd on. lol. doubletime! lol.
Nice swatches! Delphic is such a pretty color. I'm still using Blacktrack, and it's been a good few years since I purchased it!
i'm still contemplating on getting blacktrack..i don't know why i don't own it, and i don't know either why i should own it..lol..
I've been using Revlon's Colorstay l/l recently, and i like how it's super convenient..i don't need to use a brush, just dip and line, then your good to go..
thanks for the swatches. I'm using Jane mineral eyeliner and I actually like it. I think fluidline is a bit overrated.
Gel or cream liners are on my next to-buy list. What brush do you use for application?
